About the Founder

Hi, I’m Sue Lor, founder of Daily Pressed Nails.

My journey into the nail industry began at 19 when I apprenticed in a Vietnamese nail salon. There, I learned the craft from the ground up and developed a deep appreciation for precision, structure, and the level of care required to create nails that are both beautiful and durable.

As my life evolved, so did my perspective on beauty and practicality.

Working in healthcare and professional office environments meant my nails needed to remain chic, clean, and appropriate for a professional setting. I was always drawn to polished, refined styles that looked put together without being distracting.

Later, as a mother of three and transitioning into being a stay-at-home mom, my personal style began to change. I found myself entering a bolder era — wearing more playful designs, cute details, and styles that felt expressive and fun, almost like reconnecting with my inner child. Even then, I still preferred to keep my nails at practical lengths so they could fit into everyday life.

This balance between chic and expressive, professional and playful, became the foundation of the designs I create today.

I began creating press-on nails that felt aligned with real life — designs refined enough for professional settings, yet comfortable and practical for everyday responsibilities, while also offering bolder and more creative designs for those who want their nails to be a form of personal expression.

With years of hands-on experience in nail craftsmanship and a strong focus on wearability, I design nail sets that prioritize extra short to medium lengths, allowing women to maintain a polished look without sacrificing functionality.

While Daily Pressed focuses on extra short to medium lengths for everyday wear and practicality, I also offer long to extra long lengths for those who want their nails to make more of a statement. These designs are created for moments of expression, creativity, and confidence — because nails can be both practical for everyday life and expressive when you want them to be.

What began as a personal solution gradually grew into a way to help other women with full lives feel confident, polished, expressive, and effortlessly put together.

That vision eventually became Daily Pressed Nails.
