Nail Quality & Wear FAQ

Are your nails reusable?

Yes! With proper removal and care, many of our nail sets can be reused multiple times.

Using adhesive tabs instead of nail glue can help preserve the nails for future wear. For detailed instructions on proper removal and care, please visit our blog post on press-on nail removal and maintenance.

How long do your press-on nails last?

With proper nail preparation and application, our press-on nails typically last 1–3 weeks.

Wear time may vary depending on lifestyle, nail prep, and whether nail glue or adhesive tabs are used. The quality of the nail glue can also affect longevity.

Are press-on nails durable?

Yes. Our nails are designed to be lightweight yet durable for everyday wear. When applied correctly, they are strong enough for normal daily activities.

However, we recommend not using your nails as tools, such as opening boxes or performing other activities that place excessive pressure on the nails.

Will press-on nails damage my natural nails?

No. When applied and removed properly, press-on nails should not damage your natural nails.

We recommend gentle removal and proper nail preparation to help maintain healthy natural nails. For more information, please refer to our blog post on safe press-on nail removal.

Application FAQ

How do I apply press-on nails?

  1. Push back cuticles and lightly buff your natural nails

  2. Clean nails with alcohol or a nail prep solution

  3. Apply glue or an adhesive tab to the press-on nail

  4. Press firmly for 20–30 seconds

For best results, avoid water for 1–2 hours after application.

Each order includes application instructions to guide you through the process.

Should I use glue or adhesive tabs?

Both options work well depending on your needs.

Nail glue: longer wear (typically 1–3 weeks)
Adhesive tabs: shorter wear but easier removal and better for reuse

How can I make my press-on nails last longer?

For the best wear:

• Properly prep your nails
• Choose the correct nail size
• Avoid water for the first 1–2 hours after application
• Press firmly during application

Proper nail preparation is the most important step for long-lasting wear.

Reuse & Removal FAQ

How do I safely remove press-on nails?

Soak your nails in warm soapy water and/or cuticle oil for about 20 minutes to help loosen the adhesive. The longer you soak, the easier the removal.

Once the adhesive begins to loosen, gently lift the nail from the side.

Never force removal, as this can damage your natural nails.

Can I reshape or file the nails?

Yes! You can gently file or reshape the nails to better suit your preference.

When reshaping, we suggest holding the nail flat against the file to avoid accidentally buffing away the top coat on the sides.

Do the nails feel heavy?

No. Press-on nails are designed to feel lightweight and comfortable, similar to salon gel or acrylic nails.

Nail thickness may vary slightly depending on the design and individual preference.
